Clubs and Organizations

CCS offers a variety of clubs and organization for students to connect with others who share similar interests. Active organizations on campus include: Interact (Rotary) service club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), North Carolina Theater Conference Festival Team, Habitat for Humanity, and Robotics.

House System

The House system was established in 2013-14 to replace our traditional Student Government. It exists to serve and build community school-wide, grades K-12. House meets every Friday for our Upper School students, Grades 7-12, offering activities that enrich a student’s personal growth and foster a sense of community and responsibility to one another.


Parents are responsible for transportation. Cary Christian School provides transportation for athletes to and from games.

Middle School: 45 minute class periods, 5 core classes + 2 electives

High School: 55 minute class periods, 6 core classes + 2 electives

Enrichment Opportunities

Lower School – Enrichment classes are part of the core curriculum. They include weekly classes in PE, music, and Art.

Upper School – Classes include 2 weekly electives offerings. Selections include PE, Fine Arts, Weight Lifting and Training, Creative Writing, Yearbook, Chess, Health and Nutrition, Personal Finance, Graphics and Web Design, History of Film, Intro to Engineering, Intro to Modern Automotive Technology, Robotics, Photography, and Study Hall.

College Counseling

The class of 2016 was offered more than $4.8 million in scholarships.

Notable awards for graduates include Morehead-Cain Scholar (UNC-Chapel Hill) and Parks Scholar (NC State University) along with National Merit Finalists each year.

We offer outstanding athletics with 40 sports teams offering multiple levels of play for middle and high school students.

Fine Arts

Our award-winning Arts program offers drama, choral music, band, and visual arts. Special travel and performance opportunities are available for Chamber Choir members.

International Experiences

In addition to our Senior Service Project to a Spanish speaking country, we offer overseas travel opportunities to Upper School. Past travel locations have included: Italy, England, Scotland, and France. Upcoming travel plans include Germany and Switzerland.

After School Care

Cary Christian School provides and After School Care for students Grades K-8 to help students and parents manage their busy schedules.
