2010 CCS Auction Summary
A heartfelt "thank you" to everyone who helped make our 2010 Cary Christian
School Benefit Auction a rousing success! We praise God for the nearly 300
attendees who gathered in the Prestonwood Country Club Ballroom for the Gala
on Friday evening, February 5. A total of $92,000 was generated through our
gala event and auction related activities, including the CCS Tuition Raffle
& CCS Online Auction.
Special thanks to Gwen Thomas, CCS Event Coordinator and her 2010 CCS
Auction Steering Committee comprised of Mavis Davis, Margaret Finnegan,
Emily Massey, and Jill Wilson. Thanks also to the many volunteers who
devoted thousands of hours of to the cause. We are also grateful to the 281
businesses and 77 families and friends of CCS who contributed items and
services for bidding. You helped to make the 2010 CCS Benefit Auction the
best one yet!
Some highlights:
♦ CCS Tuition Raffle raised $10,575.00. Greg & Kelley Thompson were
this year's winners.
♦ The 2010 Auction Fund-A-Need raised $21,200 in just 5 minutes at our
Prestonwood Gala. This money will be invested as seed money for the new
Cary Christian School Endowment.
