Important Dates
TOMORROW! – Friday, March 6 – Early Release for Spring Break – Last Day of Classes for Quarter 3 – All-School Spirit Day – No Yay Lunch or After-School Care programs will be provided. On Early Release Days, there is no lunchtime. Students need to bring a substantial snack and water bottle.
Pick-up Times:
- Grades 9-12: 11:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
- Grades K-8: 12:15-12:45 p.m.

SAVE THE DATE! – Friday, April 24 – May 14 – Spring Art Showcase – Starting on Grandparents Day through Graduation Day, come and enjoy the beauty of K-12 student artwork that will be continually displayed in the lobby and leading toward the K-2 and grades 3-5 hallways.
SAVE THE DATE! – Wednesday, June 10 – Re-Threads Consignment Sale – Now is a great time to start gathering uniform pieces that kids have outgrown. This flyer will give you all the details on buying and selling. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer for Re-Threads, email Ellen Wentz. Note: Volunteers will have the opportunity to shop the sale before the general public!

Phase 2 Capital Campaign Projects are Complete! – Thank you to the 192 donors who generously supported this campaign so that our community, for many years, can enjoy the Competition Field, Student Parking Lot, and an expanded Stormwater Retention System that enables Cary Christian School to plan for future campus improvements. Through this campaign, CCS also established a $5 million endowment that will continue to grow and provide additional financial stability.

Important Dates
TOMORROW! – Friday, March 6 – Grade 1 – North Carolina Day – First graders are learning about the border states, the three different regions, and the many state symbols of North Carolina. They will finish their unit by enjoying a fun day full of activities that celebrate our great state.
Wednesday, March 25 – Grade 2 – Field Trip to the Zoo – Turtles, lizards, alligators, snakes; some of these reptiles give us the shakes! Second grade students will be researching a mammal or a reptile and writing an animal report during fourth quarter. Their visit to the zoo is a day to experience and marvel at God’s handiwork. Students will be on the hunt for the animal they are studying.

TODAY! – Thursday, March 5 – Protocol Signups Close – Protocol is a long-standing tradition for Rhetoric School Juniors and Seniors. Parents, you will register your student through your Parent Portal. As you register, you agree to the behavior and attire expectations. For more details on the evening and attire, click here. Seniors – pairings will be announced tomorrow, Friday, March 6.

- After break, a sign up will be sent out via the “Class of 2029 (Grade 8)” ParentSquare group for those wishing to volunteer, prepare food or loan serving pieces.
College Counseling
Important Dates
Thursday, March 26 – College Pennants – Seniors, it is time for college pennants! It is your turn to decorate the outside of Ms. Smith’s office with the college, technical school, career, military, or gap year program that you are planning. The first day for pennants to go up is Thursday, March 26 during the senior special snack. If you know where you are attending or what you will be doing, start designing your pennant! Pick up your blank pennant from Mrs. Kent now or after Spring Break. We are so proud of each of our seniors and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for each one of them, and how He will use their gifts and talents.
