Sacramental Moments

The Knights Podcast – One 8th Grade Capstone at Cary Christian is an interdisciplinary study of the Resurrection. The students dive into arguments for and against the Resurrection and engage in a lively debate. Our prayer is that this debate helps them see the Resurrection as truly reasonable and that it strengthens their faith in the God who rose from the dead. Listen to 8th Grade Biblical History teacher, Jonathan Payne, discuss this great debate! Click here to listen now.

College Counseling

Dual Credit Opportunity for 2022 – 2023 School Year (Informational PowerPoint) – Thank you to those of you who attended our informational meeting on Dual Credit opportunities and Spanish III. Attached you will see the slideshow that was presented and discussed.  Our hope is that you are encouraged by this new opportunity for rising 11th and 12th grade students.  We will have another parent presentation in September of 2022 once we have finalized the classes and teachers.  We will also have a representative from Colorado Christian University to walk through the enrollment process. No action is required at this time.

Shifting to Scoir – We will be transitioning from Naviance to a system called Scoir, which is a college admissions network that joins students, families, high schools, and colleges for an improved admissions experience. It offers a more user-friendly platform for students and teachers. In addition, it offers YouScience. This system can keep track of critical information needed to guide students toward college and career success. The features and services of Scoir are impressive and the rising Seniors will have access to it in the next few weeks.

Senior Final Transcripts – Final Transcripts for Seniors will be sent in early June to the school where the student is matriculating as indicated in Naviance. Ms. Smith will also mail a copy to each Senior to keep in his/her records.

AP Scores – Will be sent directly from College Board. Students must go onto College Board to request their free score by June 20.
