Math Camp (Rising 3rd-5th Grade Students) – Students will have fun completing math activities and applying math concepts to real world problems.

SAT/ACT English & Language Skills (Rising 9th – 11th Grade Students) – Join this camp to polish up on Language component skills required to perform well on the SAT and ACT.

College Essay Bootcamp (Rising 12th Grade Students) – The College Essay Bootcamp will serve the class of 2024 through workshopping Common App essays before they begin their senior year coursework. By the end of the week, students will learn in-depth strategies for writing college essays, students will have personal time to workshop with Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Clarkson, and students will leave with a finished essay ready to submit. Students are required to bring a laptop and a notebook.

SAT/ACT Math Skills (Rising 9th – 11th Grade Students) – Students will develop Skills required for success in SAT and ACT Math Tests.

Summer Book Club (Rising 4th – 5th Grade Students) – We will be reading From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. This modern classic is an adventure, a mystery, and a celebration of art and beauty, presented in a light-hearted humorous story about a brother and sister who run away together to live at a museum.   We will emphasize reading strategies including summarizing, visualizing, making connections, Socratic discussion, and include some fun activities along the way.  Each student will receive a copy of the novel to add to their personal library!

Grammar and Latin for Incoming Students (Rising 4th – 6th Grade Students) – For incoming students in grades 4-6 as a “crash course” in Shurley grammar and Latin. Focus will be on parts of speech, jingles, classifying sentences using the Question and Answer Flow, writing complete sentences, Latin vocabulary, and Latin sentence translation.

Chess Club (Rising 1st – 8th Grade Students) – Our approach utilizes excitement, laughter, and high energy activities that can turn any kid into a chess lover! Earning colorful wristbands, singing chess songs, competing for beads in tournaments, and watching hilarious chess videos are just part of what makes Chess Club so much fun! This camp will be perfect for any rising 1st-8th grader, regardless of prior chess experience. Jazz Band (Rising Grade 5th – 12th Grade Students) – Students will learn how to play jazz and jazz improvisation. It will be a fun two weeks!

Creative Writing Workshop (Rising 4th – 5th Grade Students) – Students will work hard in an hour and a half daily session with the goal of finishing their own story by the end of the week. Students will go home on Friday with a finished hardcover book with their story.

Scrapbook I (Rising 5th – 8th Grade Girls) – Learn the basics of scrapbook design, color theory, layout, etc. Enjoy a week of glitter, stickers, pretty paper, hand lettering and photography elements, all with friends! Each student will bring home at least five scrapbook pages and some supplies to add to their collection.
