Senior Service Practicum – Continue praying for our seniors as they minister in Newport, Tennessee. They travel home on Monday, November 22 and will be preparing to share what they learned with their families and our community.
Angel Tree – Dear CCS Families, take an angel off one of the trees in the lobby or Commons Area, buy an item for the age group and sex labeled on the angel, and return that gift wrapped under the tree! Fall Sports Summaries
Cross Country

- Varsity – The varsity Cross Country program had a very strong year under first year Coach Megan Mansy. The women’s varsity Country team finished as NCISAA 3A Runner-up State Champions for the second year in a row. The men’s team secured their third consecutive top 5 finish in the State Championship meet with an overall placing of 4th out of 16 schools.
- Logic – The Logic School XC team also had a very successful year under coaches Chris Cathey and Teresa Estep culminating in a Capital Area Middle School Conference Championship for the girls and 3rd place finish for the boy’s team.
Field Hockey

- Varsity – Led by first year coaches Michell Kasold and John Miller the Varsity Field Hockey team finished with an impressive regular season record of 12-3 before exiting in the quarter finals.
- Logic – Under the leadership of Cameron Perkins the Logic School Field Hockey team finished with a perfect record of 10-0.
Football

- Varsity – Congratulations to Coach Josh Elliott and his NCISAA DIV 1 3A State Champion Varsity Football Knights! The varsity football team finished the year with an overall record of 9-2, making the playoffs for the first time in 10 and winning CCS’s first ever State Championship in football!
- JV – First year JV Head Coach Brian Elkins led his squad to a perfect record of 8-0 and won the JV Football Championship!
Soccer

- Varsity – The varsity men’s Soccer team showed resilience and determination overcoming multiple early season setbacks to finish with an overall record of 7-5-1 and state tournament quarter-final qualifiers under second year coach Dario Brose.
- Logic – This year’s boys’ team, led by coach Kike Molina, finished with an overall record of 6-5 advancing as far as the quarterfinals in the CAMSC tournament.
Varsity Tennis – The varsity girl’s tennis program began its rebuilding process this year under new head coach Cheryl Hamel. Although the team lost in the first round of this year’s playoff, this team showed grit and determination all season long garnering the praises of multiple opposing head coaches.
Volleyball

- Varsity – With only two returning Varsity athletes, Coach Regan Scott had her women’s varsity Volleyball team fighting hard night after night to finish the season with a 6-17 season and a first round exit in the NCISAA 3A State tournament.
- JV – The women’s Junior Varsity Volleyball team developed into a fundamentally sound team and finished strong winning 4 of their final 6 games to achieve an overall record of 5-3.
- Logic School Gold – This year’s middle school girls Gold Volleyball team was taught by second year coach Jenna Bronson and finished with an overall record of 7-6
- Logic School Blue – Coach Dawn Hochstein led the girls Blue Volleyball team to an overall record of 6-5.
Our prayer for our school is that the Lord would use Cary Christian to call each of our students to be rooted and grounded in love . . . filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
