Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the Cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Monday, April 7 Through Thursday, April 24 – Senior Thesis Presentations – Senior Thesis Presentations begin on Monday, April 7. We invite all CCS families to come support and celebrate our Senior students in this academic achievement. Click here for a full schedule of topics.
TOMORROW! – Friday, April 11 – Lost & Found (8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.) – Families may look for lost items under the West Canopy (the side of the building closest to the gravel lot). Any unclaimed items will be donated or discarded. Each week, campus-wide items are consolidated in the K-2 stairwell. If you cannot find your belongings in the hallway bins, check the K-2 stairwell throughout the month. If you have any questions, contact Ellen Wentz.
TOMORROW! – Friday, April 11 – Worship Night – Let’s worship together at our last student-led worship night of this school year! All K-12 students and parents are invited to attend. Students will also share their testimonies.

Saturday, April 12 – Eighth Grade Tea – We are looking forward to this year’s event! Parents, refer to the ParentSquare posts to access the volunteer signup and dress code guidelines as well as final details for the Tea. Students need to arrive at school between 2:30-2:45 p.m. and enter through the K-2 Hallway doors. If you have any questions, contact Ellen Wentz.

Due By Friday, April 25 – Rhetoric School Executive Leadership Team Applications for 2025-2026 – Rhetoric School students, If you have an interest in serving in a leadership role next year in House, Social, Service, Worship or Communication, request an application from Mrs. Walsh’s desk starting Monday, April 16 and fill it out even if you were in a position this past year. The application process tells us you are interested for this upcoming school year. All applications are due Friday, April 25 by the 4:00 p.m. Please see Mrs. Hillsgrove or Mrs. Walsh if you have any questions.

Wednesdays in April – Rhetoric College Counseling Lunch and Learn – Drop-in Lunch and Learn sessions are intended for students and parents to ask general college counseling questions. Sessions are open for any 9-12 grade student or parent. Click here for the schedule.

Monday, May 5 – Friday, May 23, 2025 – AP Exams – These will be administered to those who have signed up. Use this link to see the locations, times, and reminders. Individual emails will be sent to students for each exam. Veracross attendance has already been documented as excused, however, please communicate with your teachers.

- Are You Taking AP Exam Only? Students, you should have a good study and prep plan that includes 1 to 2 hours of study a week.
