Thursday, May 1 – Saturday, May 3 – Rhetoric School Spring Drama Production: A Midsummer Night’s Dream – Magical, mischievous, and musical! Things are getting weird in the woods! Do not miss this unforgettable journey into the enchanted world of the delightful Shakespearean comedy classic that has been making audiences laugh for over 400 years.

SAVE THE DATE! – Tuesday, June 3 – Re-Threads Consignment Sale – Now is a great time to start gathering uniform pieces that kids have outgrown. This flyer will give you all the details on buying and selling. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer for Re-Threads, email Ellen Wentz. Note: Volunteers will have the opportunity to shop the sale before the general public!

Lower School (K-5th)

Friday, April 25 – Lower School Grandparents’ Day – We are looking forward to welcoming grandparents and special guests to our campus to share a glimpse of our excellent classical education founded upon a biblical worldview. The schedule for the day’s program can be found here.
Wednesday, April 30 – Grade 2 – Field Trip to the Zoo – Turtles, lizards, alligators, snakes; some of these reptiles give us the shakes! Second grade students have spent fourth quarter researching a mammal or a reptile and writing an animal report. Their upcoming visit to the zoo is a long-awaited day to experience and marvel at God’s handiwork. Students will be on the hunt for the animal they have studied.
Wednesday, April 30 – Grade 4 – Reformation Celebration – Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solus Christus, Sola Scriptura, Soli Deo Gloria! Salvation is found by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, for the glory of God alone! Fourth graders will spend the day celebrating the Protestant Reformation. They will eat a special “Diet of Worms” snack, analyze and sing Martin Luther’s famous hymn, “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God,” learn to write 5 Solas in calligraphy, map the European countries involved in the Reformation, burn the bull, and more!
Upper School (6th-12th)

- For Rhetoric School (grades 9-12) students who would like to miss class to attend a friend’s presentation: read our instructions on absence requests, which require parent and teacher approval.
- For Logic School (grades 6-8) students: Senior Thesis runs throughout April and is primarily a Rhetoric School event. Logic School students will not be permitted to miss classes to attend Thesis except for a sibling’s presentation, or if a parent signs out their child in person and is present sitting in the theater with their Logic School student.
Due By Friday, April 25 – Rhetoric School Executive Leadership Team Applications for 2025-2026 – Rhetoric School students, If you have an interest in serving in a leadership role next year in House, Social, Service, Worship or Communication, request an application from Mrs. Walsh’s desk and fill it out even if you were in a position this past year. The application process tells us you are interested in this upcoming school year. All applications are due Friday, April 25, by 4:00 p.m. Please see Mrs. Hillsgrove or Mrs. Walsh if you have any questions.
Due by Friday, April 25 – 2025-26 Class Representative Nominations – Current 6th-11th grade students received an email on Monday, April 14, for how to access the class representative information and nominations survey link. The link will close on Friday, April 25.

Monday, April 28 – Wake Tech on Campus – Seniors, are you interested in applying to Wake Tech for the fall semester? A Wake Tech Representative will be here to help you with the application process during lunch.
Thursday, May 1 – National Decision Day – May 1 is National Decision Day. Seniors, be sure to pay your enrollment deposit and enter your decision in Scoir. If you are on the Wait List at a college, it is recommended that you deposit at your second-choice college. If you need to meet with Ms. Smith, use the Calendly link.
Thursday, May 1 – Senior Photo – Get your college or next-step T-shirt. The photo will be taken right before you are released for lunch. We can’t wait to see where God is leading you!

Monday, May 5 – Friday, May 23, 2025 – AP Exams – These will be administered to those who have signed up. Bring your own charged laptop. If you have questions about what AP Exams you are taking, check your College Board Account. Use this link to see the locations, times, and reminders. Individual emails will be sent to students for each exam. Veracross attendance has already been documented as excused, however, please communicate with your teachers.
We highly recommend that students familiarize themselves with how the digital AP Exams will flow, click here and scroll down to resources and watch the video.
Parents, do not order My Hot Lunch for your student if they have a noon AP Exam. They will need to bring lunch on those days.
