Sacramental Moments

Why is it so important that all subjects are integrated as part of a whole? What makes learning fruitful? Patrick Halbrook talks about the value of teaching our students to think about ideas through different lenses. In history class it is wonderful to hear, “We were just talking about this idea in literature!” Check out this week’s podcast to learn more (click here)

The Seniors did an incredible job with the Senior Wall! Big thanks to Madelyn and Lindsay for spearheading this project, and to Wyatt for helping put the pieces together!

Congratulations to Lynn Kong for being named a National Merit Scholar Finalist! She is in the top 1% of students who took the NMSQT Exam in October!

Our Rhetoric School students came back from Spring Break to find these verses on their lockers. We are so thankful for our students, families, and staff that seek to point us all back to Christ.

He will surely do it!”

Thursday, April 7 – Friday, April 8 – 5th Grade Country Days – The students have been studying a foreign country of their choice and will be presenting their research reports in front of the class. The students enjoy researching how many languages have yet to have a translated Bible and how to pray for the work of the gospel in each of these countries. As part of our celebration, the students have the option to bring in a dish from their country, and we enjoy an international feast at lunch. We are thankful we serve a God of every tongue, tribe, and nation! Pray that we will be a people with a heart for the nations.

The 3 Musketeers Tickets Are NOW ON SALE – Our Rhetoric School Drama students are excited to bring the actionadventure, and romance of The Three Musketeers to the stage (and perhaps into the audience!) of our brand-new Theater. Plan to join Athos, Porthos, and Aramis — as well as our young adventurer D’Artagnan and his sister Sabine — as they explore themes such as loyalty, love, honor, and justice in 17th-century France. Based on the novel by the black French writer Alexandre Dumas, Ken Ludwig’s version is a refreshing, swashbuckling romp through a familiar story. There may even be some surprises along the way. The play will run May 5-7! Get your tickets NOW!

Our prayer for our school is that the Lord would use Cary Christian to call each of our students to be rooted and grounded in love . . . filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
