Patriot Day Prayer
Father God, You are our strength and our refuge. In this season of remembrance, we lift up those in our country affected by the events that occurred over twenty years ago. We pray that you continue to comfort and sustain them. We also pray for those in our community who have chosen to serve in our military and as first responders. Please protect them and give them peace. Thank you for your goodness, for your faithfulness, and for the hope that we have in you. Yours is the glory forever and ever, Amen.

Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance – Yesterday morning, on September 11, the entire K-12 school assembled on the Main Field to pray for our nation, to honor the lives tragically lost on 9/11/2001, and to pay tribute to the brave men and women who serve and protect us as firefighters, police, first-responders, and military service members. CCS graduates and staff who have chosen to serve in uniform were named aloud, thanked, and prayed for. The student-led event included a Scout Color Guard, the singing of our National Anthem, and “God Bless America” led by student musicians and band members. Thank you to our Rhetoric School’s Armed Forces Appreciation Club and Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) Club for planning this annual school event and creating the beautiful and touching display of 2,977 American flags near our school’s entrance.

2024-25 Approved Student Tutors – Looking for extra academic support for your child? Consider employing one of the approved high school student tutors. Contact information and subject specialties are listed here. (This is also housed on the Parent and Student Portals.)
- Approximately 50% of our rising Kindergarteners come from current CCS families. We would be sad to see a current CCS family placed in the waiting pool because they did not submit their application early.
- Nine of our grades currently have waiting pools. Many students placed in waiting pools for this year will carry over for next year’s admissions.
- We anticipate another year with more applicants than we have classroom seats.
