Thursday, April 13 – Fourth Grade Renaissance Day – Our Fourth Graders have enjoyed studying the Renaissance in history. They made beautiful art imitations earlier last quarter and now they get to celebrate with a feast, dancing, and games! 

  

Thursday, April 13 – Senior Thesis Presentations Begin – Senior Thesis Presentations will begin on April 13 and will continue until April 27. We invite all CCS families to come support and celebrate our Senior students in this academic achievement. Click here for a full schedule of topics.

 

Friday, April 14 – Worship Night – Come join us in the Theater for our last community Worship Night of the school year!

Saturday, April 15 – Taylor Anne Foundation 7K Race/Walk and Family Fun Run – Come join us wherever you are to run, walk, skip, or jump in honor of the beautiful life of Taylor Anne. Proceeds from this run/walk will go to the Taylor Anne Foundation, which is a non-profit, set-up to continue to shine her light while raising awareness and funds to support pediatric cancer research. Grandparents’ Day – Save the Date! Lower School is looking forward to welcoming grandparents and special guests to our campus on Friday, April 28, to share what we’ve been learning this year. More details to come mid-April.  

  

Parents in Prayer – Parents of Lower School students are invited to join prayer meetings throughout the Fourth Quarter that will foster community with one another as we intercede for our CCS family. There is no need to RSVP! See dates below.

Tuesday, April 11 – Protocol Registrations Close – For Juniors and Seniors, Protocol registration is NOW open through your Veracross Parent Portals. When you register, you are agreeing to follow the behavior and attire expectations. Protocol is Saturday, April 22, at 7:00 P.M. at Chatham Station in Downtown Cary.

Wednesday, April 19 – 11th Grade Art Museum Field Trip – Juniors are looking forward to a fun day at the NC Museum of Art. Parents, please log into your Parent Portal and complete the required permission form by April 14. Students should arrive at school by 9:30 A.M. with a packed lunch and in dress uniform.

Rhetoric School Leadership for 2023-2024 School Year – Current Rhetoric School students, if you have an interest in serving in a leadership role next year in House, Social, Service, Worship or Communication, please get an application from Mrs. Walsh’s desk starting Tuesday, April 11. All applications are due on Thursday, April 20. Students, please see Mrs. Hillsgrove if you have any questions.

 

Snack Breaks – We have noticed that many of our students are looking for food to enhance their snacks and lunches provided from home. Please speak with your child to see if they may need more food packed to help them get through their busy day. Vending machines are located in both 1st Floor Stairwells and are available for students to use before and after school, during morning nutrition break, and at lunchtime. Credit cards and cash are accepted.
