Things to Pray for Students in Daytime & Overnight Summer Camps

  • Moments that will shape their lives
  • Connections with friends, old and new, and their counselors/leaders
  • A sense of community (Kids who don’t fit in will be included. Kids that have nothing in common with each other would become friends.)
  • To be captivated by their beautiful surroundings
  • Walls they’ve built up would begin to be torn down.
  • As kids hear about our need for Christ, pray that the truth of the gospel would pierce their hearts and they would realize that no matter where they are, they share this need.
  • Fun and safety as they participate in activities
  • An openness to the teaching presented during worship time and cabin devotions
  • Curiosity and the freedom to ask questions about their faith
  • A willingness to learn, challenge themselves, and grow
  • Wisdom, as they make any choices
  • That the Spirit would be moving kids to surrender to Christ and invite Jesus into their lives
  • That those who know Christ will love him more deeply and be strengthened in their walk with him
